Tidung Aquathlon 2018 will Be Held For Two Days

Jakarta Provincial Government will hold Tidung Aquathlon 2018 in Tidung Island, Seribu Islands, on May 5-6, 2018. It will be held with sport tourism concept, which means tourism development through sport event.

We target 200-300 participants to join this event

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno said, Tidung Aquathlon participants will be challenged to swim for 750 meters and continued with running for 10 kilometers from Tidung Besar Island to Tidung Kecil Island.

"We target 200-300 participants to join this event," he stated at City Hall, Thursday (4/5).

Sandi Intends to Hold Tidung Island Festival in April

He explained, Jakarta Government cooperates with Federasi Triathlon Indonesia, business sectors, and citizens in realizing this event.

"This event will be effective in promoting Seribu Islands as tourism destination in Jakarta. Hopefully this event can attract more local and foreign tourists to visit Seribu Islands," he conveyed.

He added, people who are interested to join can register through www.racewoxx.com. Tidung Aquathlon is not only held for tourism promotion, but also for charity.

"We want to support sport and tourism activities that can give benefits to donation receivers which are Seribu Islands residents," he stated.
